Man I love Negan!!
Again when Robert Kirkman introduce Negan, the readership was dropping and he wanted to show the readers that there was more to the story. For me I came back to reading The Walking Dead for this reason! Yes it is a “little” different then the show (at this point I think the comic reads better then the storyline on the show) but by no way am stopping to watch the show!!
It was great reading how gutsy Carl is by going to kill Negan himself plus in do this we see a softer side of Negan but do not trust him either. I read thing in less than a week and can not wait to start the next volume tomorrow!!

In the beginning of my comic book journey, my first comic was The Walking Dead due to the show that we fell in love with! Seeing how many volumes their were I felted overwhelmed, that I’ll never get through it so I stopped reading The Walking Dead since we are watching the show. Little did I know that the comic was SO different!!
With Negan now on the show I wanted to read all I can on him so the last time I was in Acme Comics I asked from what point should I read from to read all about Negan? The answer is from volume 17.
So I read it, wit a lot of changes but nothing I can not overcome!! I read it in 2 days (much faster then volume 1, over 2 years ago!!!

This story feeds in to my fear of young kids (aren’t you glad we just have a dog LOL) Kids set free to do whatever they want is a bad idea!! I read this in less then a hour, glad I did, I love the tales from the dark side!!!

After Sunday’s night’s long-awaited reveal of who Negan killed, how many other Walking Dead fans out there felt emotionally shredded and destroyed… and LOVED it?
They really went there. I mean they REALLY went there and did not pull any punches. That was easily the most intense, gut-wrenching, psychologically scarring, panic-inducing hour of television ever aired.
And I am SO glad that’s how it went down. They didn’t pussy out or water anything down like most shows do. A lot of fans are apparently very upset this morning. I get it. We all are. But we’re SUPPOSED to be. This ain’t a fairytale. It’s not a happy show. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s traumatic, it’s THE WALKING DEAD. I expected to be horribly traumatized by what I saw last night… and I was not disappointed. The showrunners delivered on their promise. And now I need some therapy….

With the up coming Comic Book Club meeting this Wednesday night covering book 1, I just finished book 4 today! Still no answers to the EVIL in this small town and the killer(s)! I can not wait to read more whenever Image Comic gives us book 5??!!
One of Steampunk’s best!
I took a break between Nailbiter books 3 and 4 too read this newest Steampunk driven story. With this new story the writing and the artwork did not miss a beat. I read it with in an hour, I loved it!!!

Yesterday sitting outside I finished book 3! I can not get enough of this story, can not put it down!! At this point everyone in this small town has blood on their hands!! At this point you would think that we would be narrowing it down to find the newest killers but NO, NOT EVEN CLOSE!! Thank you Acme Comics for picking this book, I would have never gotten it unless for the book club!!!
On to book 4!!!
